We are accepting Surrenders. The states we take Surrenders in are Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
If you are in need of surrendering your Great Pyrenees dog please email us at nepyresq@gmail.com.
We will email you the Surrender Informational Form to fill out.
The surrender informational form will help us to place the dog in a foster home and eventually a forever home.
You will need to provide shot records replica watches and spay/neuter information if the dog is fixed. Please email the information on shot records to NEPYRESQ@gmail.com.
Our bylaws do not allow us to take mixed breeds. We can not take dogs with a human bite history. You are legally responsible if you surrender a dog to any rescue or shelter and do not disclose this bite history.
If you place a dog in a home with children, knowing it has a human bite history, you could be held criminally responsible in some states.
After receiving the form a volunteer will come meet your dog. Then we will make arrangements for a foster home for the dog.
When the dog is surrendered we will have you sign a surrender Contract. We have a lifetime comittment to all dogs surrendered to us. The dogs are Microchipped to us for this reason.
All surrender information is CONFIDENTIAL.
If your dog is not in the states we cover you can go to the Great Pyrenees Club of America for rescues in the state you are in.
